This Privacy Policy explains how izipay livechat ("we") handles personal data in izipay livechat. It covers two groups of people: our customers who create accounts, and visitors who chat on our customers' websites.
1. Our role
- For account holders we are the controller of account and billing data.
- For visitors of our customers' websites we act as a processor on behalf of the customer. The website owner decides what is collected and is responsible for informing visitors. Visitors should contact the website owner first about their data; we will help the owner respond.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email, name, company, password (stored only as a secure hash), login time and IP address.
- Billing data: invoices, amounts, networks, deposit addresses and transaction references. We do not collect card numbers or bank details.
- Chat data: messages, the page where the chat started, IP address, approximate country, browser user agent, and an email address if the visitor provides one. Card numbers and CVV codes typed into the chat are masked automatically before storage.
- Usage data: AI usage, API requests and security logs.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the Service: deliver messages, generate AI replies, show conversations in the dashboard, send webhooks.
- To bill: credit AI balance and Pro periods after payment.
- To keep the Service secure: rate limits, fraud and abuse prevention, bans requested by customers.
- To communicate: verification codes, payment receipts, service and security notices.
Our legal bases are the performance of our contract with customers, our legitimate interest in running a secure service, and legal obligations.
4. AI processing
When the AI assistant is on, the conversation text, the customer's instructions and knowledge base are sent to our AI model provider to generate a reply. The provider processes the data under a data processing agreement, does not use it to train its models, and keeps it only for the limited time needed for abuse monitoring.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service (hosting and security, email delivery, AI model provider, blockchain payment processing), with the customer who owns the chat, when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention
- Conversations are kept while the customer's account is active or until the customer deletes them.
- Account and billing records are kept while the account is active and afterwards as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.
- Security logs are kept for a limited period.
8. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords and API keys, CSRF protection, rate limiting, per website domain restrictions and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected customers of a personal data breach as required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and to object to processing. Customers can exercise these rights by writing to support@izipay.me from their account email. Visitors should contact the website where they used the chat. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
10. Cookies
The dashboard uses one strictly necessary session cookie. The chat widget stores a random conversation identifier in the visitor's browser storage so the conversation continues across pages. We do not use advertising cookies.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 16, and customers must not use it to knowingly collect data from them.
